We are enabling millions of muslims coming to Saudi Arabia every year to faster and safer book their journey. Your talent is essential to build, execute and scale the local operations to ensure the customer not only gets a great digital product but also an amazing experience on the ground.
You have extensive experience in leading teams in entrepreneurial settings
You are experienced in the travel industry in Saudi Arabia and can adapt your knowledge to the digital environment
You have successfully introduced and managed a travel product in Saudi Arabia
You have experience in working with different stakeholders in the travel industry
You have a good overview of the digital travel industry in KSA
As Entrepreneur in Residence - COO of eJourney, you will be working closely with the Venture Builder FoundersLane and our corporate partner to get the venture to the first funding round. Your main responsibility in this setup will be to scale the operations on the ground in Saudi Arabia. We are aiming to hire a second Co-Founder who will be supporting you as CEO.
Your role as Co-Founder: Together with the founding team you are responsible for
stake- and shareholder management
setting up the team for scaling
steering the strategic direction of the company
Your role as COO
In the current understanding of the setup, you will take care of the following things. The exact scope our your work will constantly evolve and also depends on the interplay with the founding team and the corporate partner.
Ensure smooth operations on the ground in Saudi Arabia
Negotiate partnerships and contracts with suppliers
Setup operations that are capable of scaling up the organisation
To build up the local team efficiently the main office will be in Riyadh.
