Why we need you

The Senior Venture Developer is the interim CEO who is responsible for driving the success of our ventures. We are looking for a Senior Venture Developer in the MENA region who can manage effectively, think critically, and work passionately. We expect you to be a high performer throughout all your previous experiences who is hungry for creating impact on a global scale in venture building. You believe that getting a “no” means you have to work even harder and smarter until you get to the “yes”.
You have experience in some way related to the full life-cycle of building a venture - hunger for growth, aptitude, and attitude is a must. You can present to high level stakeholders no matter who they are because you are confident in your ability as a venture builder. This is the rare opportunity to build high-energy, mission-driven companies from scratch with a European network of experienced founders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent;
• 6+ years of experience in developing and executing impactful strategy as well as building quickly growing digital businesses;
• Previous work experience in a start-up, corporate innovation lab, or similar entrepreneurial environment;
• Strong leadership experience in a high-pressure, execution-focused environment managing multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders (e.g. consulting, investment banking, technology company);
• Able to managing all streams in the venture projects very independently incl. stakeholder management, customers, financial modelling, sales, consultancy, etc;
• Fluent in English and Arabic; 
• Available to work in Riyadh.

Your responsibilities

• Drive leadership in holistic venture building process from ideation to fundraising as an interim venture CEO taking responsibility towards all stakeholders and being a role model;
• Identify, evaluate and design new business opportunities and revenue streams considering trends, customers and market developments in diverse industries;
• Hands-on support in interdisciplinary projects in the environment of innovation and transformation with lean start-up methodology to ramp up new initiatives;
• Develop compelling value propositions and collect external and internal information to lead our team on rapidly adapt a product to market strategy;
• Apply your problem-solving and creative-ideation skills to manager partnership agreement and educate stakeholders throughout all cycle of the ventures development providing updates on the competitive landscape, and supporting relevant launch activities;
• Develop digital businesses through market analysis, developing and testing hypotheses, creating MVPs, as well as go-to-market strategies;
• Present and negotiate convincing presentations of disruptive innovative ideas,  business models and venture growth paths for a senior executive audience;
• Drive venture development projects independently by managing the team involved, monitoring and controlling progress as well as reporting the advancements to funding stakeholders;
• Owning and continuously improving products and all sub-clusters integrated into co-creations projects as well as external sales;
• Structure and scale ventures by developing the product according to key driver targets during commercialization;
• Demonstrate leadership across all phases of venture building together with our corporate partners
• Implement and improve agile processes, defining priorities, limits, risks and costs.
